Context
Learn English is the English school of teacher Anna Genova in Chișinău, with one-to-one and pair lessons.
She needed two things: a website that brings in students from search, and a simple record of students and lessons, instead of notebooks and calculations done by hand.
The learnenglish.md website
In Russian, with separate pages for services, prices, level tests, a blog and contacts, plus student reviews and sign-up for a free lesson.
The teacher’s dashboard
An app for the teacher only: students, lesson packages, a schedule with recurring lessons generated automatically, a savings jar, time off, expenses and income by week.
Between two lessons, the teacher checks the schedule and who has paid, straight from her phone.
The same dashboard, with a navigation bar at the bottom, designed for the thumb.
Why it is built this way
The title and structure target the search “курсы английского языка Кишинев”, because that is how students search, not by the school’s name.
The free lesson is the main button. For someone hesitating to start, a first step at no cost is easier than a price.
Prices have their own page. Visitors look for the price anyway; if they don’t find it, they leave.
Level tests are useful on their own and bring visitors who are not ready to sign up yet.
The FAQ answers exactly what people ask Google: how long it takes, whether online works for beginners, how to find your level.
The dashboard works out the lessons remaining in each package and generates the schedule, so the teacher teaches instead of counting.
